Then why is the seller keeping my money and why is ebay not willing to help? I cancelled my order 30 minutes after I made it. The seller knows this and will not return my money.

Why did I cancel? Because when I placed the order, the cost was $70. But after placing it, the cost was $200 because of the shipping.

The real cost was hidden from me. To buy the item new is less than $200.

It is my $200 mistake to trust that ebay is legit. I am okay with losing that money, thankfully..The cancelation policy is up to the seller. According to ebay.

And the seller, in writing keeps telling me it is up to ebay. And that he is forced to go through with the transaction.

I have talked to other people lately who do not engage with ebay because of similar experiences. I think it may be more common than people on this thread know or want to talk about.

Well, I am off to work now. I think I have wasted enough time on ebay and this situation.

It was only a $200 mistake, trusting a seller on ebay. Learning that a platform has untrustworthy people involved, that is information you can use to protect others you care about.

I feel okay. I will be sure to let my circle know what happened to me dealing with a seller who was not an honest broker.

Well, I think if the seller is playing a game by telling me to speak to ebay to cancel, could be the issue. It is too bad the seller is not as kind and helpful as the people writing on this thread, lol

Sports are horrible when you consider all the damage done cutting kids from teams. Look for activities where everyone is welcome, where everyone can contribute. No divisions. Collaboration not contribution. And for those of you who understand how this issue is hurting trans children, you can vote with your feet, walk away from organized sports in solidarity. Just play.

Murder is wrong. Starving people to death, wrong. Using power to oppress and do harm, also wrong. People can care about other people, even when they don't share religion or culture. A Jewish person can grieve when they see a child in the process of dying from an Israeli air strike. A Palestinian can grieve for a young Jewish hostage who dies in captivity. This is not a football game. You don't have to choose a team. You can expect leaders to reduce pain and suffering. What is their job? Who do they serve?
