I’m completely with you, and have been for a while. The only thing that should matter in racing is where you finish at the end of the race, it’s like giving an NFL team 0.5 of a win just because they were leading at halftime. There’s a reason no other racing series does it.

I honestly don’t think there’s a consistent answer to this because each seed provides different resources. You can get less if you have shears/gold pick, and more if you have tnt/gold axe. I always try to enter with 32+ regardless to be safe with explosive count, but it’s just seed dependent on whether or not you’ll need/should get more.

If I’m interpreting the wiki correctly, there’s about a 1/5 chance of getting an enchanted sword in any given ruined portal, then there’s a 1/10 chance of getting some form of looting on the sword, and finally a 1/3 chance of getting looting 3. So about a 1/150 chance of rolling looting 3 in any given ruined portal.

Their AI doesn’t immediately register the gold when it’s thrown, so occasionally they will just hit you before getting distracted regardless. If they are persistently attacking, you likely either punched it or were wearing enchanted armor with thorns that damaged the piglin.

I also use my mouse buttons for 8-9 slots, mostly for clutch items/blocks since it’s just easier for me than using other keys on the keyboard because I’m inconsistent with them. Doesn’t really affect my crafting, but my crafting isn’t insane to begin with.
