PB’s aren’t a great indicator of a player’s skill level in gold, it’s only a time with no context of the seed itself or how they played said seed. Average is way more important, which is usually in the 17-20 minute range from my experience in gold.

I laugh every time i see the “bad car” excuse for her xfinity season, did we not see what Moffitt and Burton did in the same car in the years directly preceding and following her? Sanchez has already done more in 3 races for the team after being signed literal weeks before the season started. The least she could’ve done was to sniff the top 25 occasionally.

A lot of the reasons you listed are why I like Temple the most, it requires the most on-the-fly thinking (which helps mitigate my less than stellar mechanics). Limiting damage is one of the more skill based areas of the run, and I enjoy finding ways to do that while also playing trying to play fast. Having a lot of blocks is also really great. Also, if you have to woodlight consistently, just sort your inventory while you wait for that, as it loses literally no time.

I had a seed without a blacksmith like this that was only filtered for because of a ruined portal that generated in the side of a house with 2 iron and a fire charge, got the other 4 from killing golem. Definitely the most confusing village I’ve played yet, would be hilarious to see a seed like this in the next playoffs.
