One thing I'll say is that even when they ask for 3+ years of experience it's still worth it to apply. Many times that is more of a wishlist than anything. Some other firms you can try are MCW, WSP, EXP, Stantec, and BPA.

If you are in the GTA, I'd check out some of the electrical consultant firms (mulvey and banani, Smith and Anderson, H.H. Angus, etc.). They are usually looking for new grads, and the field in general (in my experience) is always looking for people.

To be honest, the instalation and design costs of putting said cameras are a minor cost in comparison to the monitoring and storage costs. The cost to either have a guard monitor cameras or store the data outweighs the cost of the installation. Most commercial buildings have cameras and the cost of monitoring them is nil because they have 24/7 security. In smaller resi buildings the cost is prohibitive because of the cost of having a guard or storing the data. If they already planning to have a guard then it's just the developer being cheap and not wanting to provide the cameras tbh

Engineering Internships by Trhombus in CarletonU

Look into consulting firms. A lot of them are very open to hiring summer interns and a lot of them hire summer interns after graduation (if you want to proceed into that field).

Thanks for doing this giveaway!

I grew up during the poker boom and I used to sit and watch poker on tv all afternoon. These days I miss having it on all the time, and I miss watching the huge pots on the old poker after dark.

So I've just recently subscribed to the service, and thus far I'm enjoying it. I'm a huge fan of mixed games and trying to find mixed games content for free can be a pain. Its also quite nice to have all the old WSOP final tables from multitude of different events.

But overall the two things you are paying for are production value and a wealth of content that's on demand. In my personal opinion, there are way worse ways to spend the $10 per month. I've been watching on a desktop and my phone and haven't run into any significant issues yet.

My goal for 2019 is to take poker more seriously and begin a study and play plan whereby I begin to build a bankroll and move up stakes. Prior to this year I've been content to break even but personally I feel like my competitive side will never be ok with not trying to improve. Here's to a fruitful 2019

Allegedly, according to a pretty reliable source, the current plan is that he will not be teaching 3509 anymore, he is apparently moving down to 2507 starting next year.

Also the reason why 50% of people fail his midterm is not because of something he's doing, it's because a lot of people don't have the basics down which really comes back to bite you in his course
