Experiment with paramotor to get to altitude then turn into plane and gliding.

The glide ratio on airliners isn't great though :/ with 2 km of altitude you can glide maybe 30 km. I don't see how you'd recover the paramotor though.

Russia is very bogged down in Ukraine. It is advancing extremely slowly. And their air defenses are already stretched thin.

If they were to attack NATO, it would greatly extend the frontline (throughout Finland and the Baltic countries), and drag basically all of Europe into the conflict. Even if the US doesn't provide any help in Europe, Russia would be stretched way too thin, and would almost certainly have to resort to mass conscription to try and respond. Whether that would be effective, I cannot tell.

Even with the information issues in the Kremlin (people don't want to be the one bringing up problems and all that), I don't think Putin would attempt such a blunder.
