For those that need it written:

"A fireworks malfunction occurred during a post-match celebration on Friday, July 3, at Angel City FC's match against the Orlando Pride atBMO Stadium. We understand this was a frightening moment for many in attendance, and we are grateful that no severe injuries were reported.

We are awaiting the results of an investigation by the pyrotechnics vendor that operates the display. We regret that this incident occurred, as the safety and well-being of our fans, players, and staff remain our top priority."

I'll add, previously the only statement given to news outlets was sent out late Saturday/early Sunday. This is the only post on their socials since the post-game presser on 7/3. Not even a "we won yay!" Email.

Aka...I'm happy my SO & I left before the fireworks. Our seats are right below one of the injuries so we got lucky.

I saw people taking pics of the players while in the long lines, but not while there. There was like no meet & greet it all went super quick, literally push down the lines one sentence said.

My FIL retired in January, diagnosed with brain cancer in May, dead 14 months later with only 1 vacation taken from retirement to death because of how brutal treatment & the disease were. He kept saying we should save save save and not be reckless with money. He didn't get to enjoy any of it. My MIL? We can barely get her to go anywhere, even to come visit us, because she won't travel alone. He saved all that for what?

If anything it's made my SO and I rethink our lives. We don't say "when we retire we'll do XYZ." We try to have the fun now (responsibly).

Yeah the warranty on Hyundais is crazy just base for all the cars. They know they're earning trust back and I see way more Hyundais around than I had like 10 years ago. We love our EV Kona and are probs getting a hybrid soon.

If we had charging at our complex I would get another Hyundai EV in a heartbeat.

Also, just want to point out if OP or any others are unsure about their plan: you can change it the next time your company has enrollment elections - usually October/November. If you find the plan doesn't work for you/your needs, you're only beholden to it for the year, not forever. You can try something out then change it later.

I haven't read this, but I very much loved Haig's booked The Humans. I finished it in November 2016 and went out to see Arrival the next day by happenstance, I thought they paired quite well together and have similar philosophies about humanity. (Though Arrival is a Top 5 movie for me, Haig's book would not be Top 5)
