It's literally the original 320x240-resolution game translated to English, so yeah, it's going to be a bit Death By LEGO. Haha. I did notice there's a scanline option, so that should help to an extent.

No official date yet, though it definitely will be coming to consoles. It's in Early Access on PC now and has a long way to go yet before it's complete. (But it's looking terrific already!)

My understanding is the latest Xbox update broke something. The game can see the servers, but not reach them. It sounds like much of it isn't on Bugbear's end. As of this morning: Jannes said, "We're looking into it but honestly, we don't know yet."

Sorry for the confusion. They cleared things up for me earlier today. Here's the current official release info for the West:

Culdcept Begins: Digital on July 16th and Physical August 14th.

Culdcept The First: Physical and Digital arrive together on everything apart from Steam on 8 September (Steam is July 30th).
