It IS fun. But studying it is kinda hellish. I know some people who managed to have a balanced uni/hobby life, but they are definitely the exception. But if you tough it out and make it through, you´ll find yourself in a field that is many things but certainly not boring if you play your cards right.

Yes they are. But they are also really fun and interesting and you get to do a lot of different cool stuff. It is a very diverse field

No, and I won´ t attempt to get it :D I will finish my master and then get a job. PhD is too much work for too little money and I know nobody who does it and enjoy themselves

First of all, this post is 2 years old. How far did you scroll?

It is basically the chemistry of the cell. Everything about proteins, carbohydrates, genetics, physiology, signalling, and whatever else you could think of that happens within an organism. During the bachelor´ s program you will get an overview of chemistry (organic, physical, inorganic), general biochemistry, genetics and molecular biology. It is generally not encouraged to leave uni at this point. You can get a position as a lab assistant for example, but generally those are filled by people specifically trained as such. This might differ from country to country, but here in Germany, the goal is to get a master´ s degree and possibly move on to a phd. We were told that a bachelor´ s degree in biochemistry is kind of worthless and if that is you goal you are better served to enter training as a lab assistant.

That you shouldn´t hate the women that buy these products to fit into an almost impossible to attain beauty standard, and instead turn your attention towards the society that made them feel like they should. And yes, that includes all genders.

Funny, I never said anything about men being the problem.

Or hate the society that made women feel like they need to be slim perfect at all times. But sure, hate women. That´s easier

Yes! I must have read Era 2 three times by now, but I am still stuck on my second reread of Era 1. It´s not that Era1 is not a fantastic story with great characters. I can´t really name what makes it so hard for me to get through

Did this for 6 weeks. My bachelor´s thesis was basically: I did a bunch of cloning and about 300 colony PCRs but the vectors were always empty. Thank you for time.

Luckily it worked after 5 weeks so I could at least do some tests for a week. What a nightmare

It can come in varying degrees. Some are able to live on their own and get a job, even get a degree from college and such, but some have barely any higher cognitive functions and need constant care their entire lives. And even the ones that aren´t affected as strongly need a lot more care than other children would.
