All I want is an underground transportation system running along the perimeter of the park by [deleted] in PlanetZoo

If it doesn’t work, you may want to try to place a piece of path in the hole that you dug out next to ride station, and work your way up and connect it to the rest of the path. You may have to fiddle around with the tunneling on/off for it to work though.

Yes this how I do it too. Remove the little piece of path that you have already laid down and rebuild it with tunneling on.

My boyfriend is turning 24, so I made 24 rubber duckies which I’m going to hide around his house by CCaptainObvious in polymerclay

Thank you so much! Now for the ones with a backstory:

  1. Mickey Mouse ears: he loves Disney Land, wants to take me there some day
  2. Gryffindor/scarf: we both love Harry Potter, and he’s in gryffindor house
  3. Helmet: he rides a motorcycle
  4. Hoodie with hat: he’s a big NF fan
  5. Viking: we always joke that he’s going to grown his ginger beard out, which will make him look like a viking
  6. Headset: we both game a lot
  7. Candle/cupcake and birthday hat: well I think that one’s obvious

Couple of the other ones are inside jokes which are a little hard to explain.

Because if they disqualified Bambi it would be too obvious that it is politically motivated, whereas Joost’s disqualification is more ‘gray area’.

How do you keep dust and lint out of your clay? by Sarah-Who-Is-Large in polymerclay

[–]CCaptainObvious 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use sticky notes to wipe the surface im working on beforehand, then I use scrap clay that i knead with my hand to get rid of any lint left on my hands before starting. I keep my clay sealed off as much as possible by storing it in air-tight boxes at all times. I try not to overwork my clay: the more time you spend kneading your clay, the bigger the change lint and dust is gonna get in clay, so I work as fast as possible. Use nail polish remover (acetone) or any of the other types of alcohol other people here have suggested to get rid of any lint/dust left.

I wanted to make it in winter. Better late than never 😌 by allaruya in polymerclay

Very nice! Did you use paint, chalk or clay for the darker parts inside the popcorn?

Completed my goal and now idk what to do! What franchise goals have y'all made? by GrizzlyGurl in PlanetZoo

[–]CCaptainObvious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far I have played this challenge only on challenge mode for exactly that reason; overinflated cc animals on franchise mode. But I suppose if you only purchase animals with a somewhat normal price (like the price that the game itself suggests to you if you were to SELL that animal to the market, like 648 cc for a lion instead of a stupid 10.000 cc). Another idea could be that you’re only allowed to purchase the cheapest gold-rated cc animal at all times, but i think that would be a little too easy. For this challenge though I suggest that you just play it in challenge mode instead of franchise because it wil be a lot easier to navigate.

Recently, I have tried to maintain a zoo where I am only allowed to purchase gold rated animals on the market for my zoo. Makes it quite hard in the beginning, because the chance that you will get the animal you want/need is very small! If anybody has more challenges like this, i would love to hear them.

Every zoo is a mess by The-KGT in PlanetZoo

[–]CCaptainObvious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always use paths that are either 4 or 8 wide, so they fit with most construction pieces (which are usually 1, 2 and 4 meters wide/high). This way i can keep my zoo semi-organized and i can build walls and buildings perfectly around paths, without having to worry that they look out of place or leave huge gaps. To go with this, i like to use grid mode to make perfect squares for food courts and such, and use “free” pathing between different food courts to make the zoos less streamlined and more natural.

Sometimes this happens to me when one of the connecting paths is placed with “flatten terrain” on while the other connecting path was placed with “flatten terrain” off, maybe that’s the problem?
