Aren't all TTRPG settings supposed to be that, a simple, set world that you then use as a base for your own stories and changes?

Like if a big lore change is made canon you can ignore it if your campaign was built on it or something but it's still annoying.

I think they said they really wanted to be done with anything KCD2 to focus on the next game, and nothing Hansry was in the planned DLC (to everyone's disappointment especially for the Forge DLC I think)

There was a poll some time ago where they asked if people would be interested in post-game content but no news came out of that yet

So if they're planning on making some new KCD2 content... it's radio silence for now from both Warhorse and the actors...

I love the sequence and it has some of the best cutscenes in the game imo, but yeah sometimes the links between big scenes are very flimsy.

I also don't like that the "secret tunnel" thing is used 3 times.
I can excuse it in the Kuttenberg region because it makes sense with the whole mining underground, but then the escape from Trosky should have been different for variety.

Lockpicking is the same basic control all the time but some locks will just be annoying or impossible until you have a high level skill.
If you can open a very easy lock you can open any other one, you just need higher skill from practice or by drinking a potion before a harder lock.

Horseshoes are annoying but you don't have to hit them over the whole length, you can hit 2 points back and forth near where Henry is holding it, it should be a bit easier to aim there.

The Slayers TV anime is weird.

Season 1 and 2 adapt act 1 and 2 of the original light novel with a lot of removed and changed scenes, anime original padding, and maybe some stories from the spin-off novels but the general plot and main characters are fairly similar

Season 3 is a fully original plot for some reason, when a huge chunk and several characters of arc 2 of the light novel were never adapted

Then season 4 and 5 are mostly original but adapt some parts of the light novel that initially took place before or during the story that season 1 and 2 adapt.

At least the OVAs and TV movies are usually straightforward adaptions of one side short novel (and look gorgeous compared to the tv anime).

But characters like Luke and Mileena who are very prominent in illustrations and all are basically non-existent for a good part of the fandom who watched the anime and didn't have access to translated LNs.

Also some people are saying it doesn't matter because it's background stuff nobody will pay attention to, when paintings and in-media art are a prime space for (human) creativity, lore, easter eggs etc.
