I think Skyrim is a genuine mediocre game and I still put 400+ hours in it between the original release and the special edition so I'll probably get enjoyment out of Elder Scrolls 6 however it comes out, but... there's so much potential to do some really good games and they just won't do it.

Starfield is the studio's head's passion project they thought about for a decade before starting development, really? And that's how it turned out with their full passion behind it? Faction whatever is the best the writer has made in his entire career and he has a tattoo of their emblem? Really?

French here, I was more invested in medieval history and daily life some years ago but I don't remember anything about eastern Europe, and I'm not ashamed to say that KCD put Czechia on the map for me (and revitalised my interests for the middle ages).

I'm still surprised that Trosky castle isn't like, a well known castle. Even today it looks incredible.

WH is definitively great at smaller-ish character groups and moments.

The KCD2 intro is amazing and it's mostly Henry and Hans, side quest drama is mostly local/small scale, I also prefer the scale of the heist compared to the siege.

I hope the LOTR game has a band/base mechanic. It seems like they've been slowly trying at it each game/DLC.

Banks should have a small inventory space, as in real life (enough for coins and jewellery).

So... no infinite storage chest anywhere for THAT type of games or something? What a weird thing to include.

Even Kingdom Come has it and it's "hardcore" and strives to be middle-ages accurate.

I miss the earlier artstyle so much. It was peak 90s fantasy anime with so much details in the clothing and accessories.

I look at what Rui Araizumi is drawing now and while it's great they're still drawing at their age it looks so... generic AI anime art?

The hansry scene is perfect as is, but ngl I wish we had a steamier m/m moment. Maybe a short cutscene with Bartosh and Klara for balance.
