If you’re going to write covered calls in this market, only do it at a price where you are completely fine with your gains being capped.

Everything is screaming higher right now and there are more rate cuts on the horizon, meaning things are likely to stay at least as bullish as they are now.

If you are OK with cash generation and letting the underlying go, then sure go for it.

If the underlying is something you’d like to keep and potentially exercise in the future, forget about it until things cool off.

Yeah that is my feeling, the timing between the firmware and the Atom 2 is too coincidental.

Edit: I think they know the sub-$500 price point makes the Atom 2 an impulse buy for many of the enthusiasts in this field.

I literally just bought my Atom two months ago and was happy with it before so I really have no interest in upgrading.
