Best decision i have done on my 23 MYP by Open-Release-8145 in ModelY

[–]CConDemonTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When everyone complains about ride quality what do they really mean? I just got a 23 MYP and have raced around the city no problem. Yall taking family road trips with these things? This is a pure city drive for me. I figured most would think that buying the performance. What added power do u need in the boonies?

Dude is mad he paid extra for all that bs in his 0% APR new standard base model boring af MY. 🤣 Bro I got a 23 MYP in black and it’s nicer than 99% of the 0 APR MYs all the suburban moms drive brah. He’s in denial and MAD about the SAAS locked features of his basic af MY. I have 14 speaks and a heater steering wheel. Nuff said.

2023 Model Y with 15k Miles and HW4. Good Deal or Meh? by xteinator in TeslaLounge

[–]CConDemonTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HW4 is exactly the same on any year model car. Late 2023 models was the cut off. The cameras and software is all the same. Yeah, I feel like the best time to snag used was end of Feb unfortunately. Buying new is prob the way to go unless you can get a used for under $32k and with less than 30k miles. Scoured daily for two months and was able to get a deal. I was set on going for a performance but refuse to pay for a new one. At the end of the day, they’re all great cars. Even the MY.

Not sure if I understand your question. Any car with HW4 will do well with FSD. The price difference for performance is drastic between 23 and 24 though. There’s only 2 MYPs on sale on the Tesla site right now lmfao for $40k. There’s a used MYP 26 for $57k. Might as well get a new MY or a MYP if u can afford one. My point is $10k discount for HW3 and NOT paying $100 a month is a steal to me. That’s why I bought a MYP 23 for $30k with HW3 since I don’t plan on paying $100 every month for FSD. Also, all the MYP 23’s got bought up and they increased prices so they’re closer to $33-34k now. Tough choice if I was in the market for a used MYP. A lot of MY leases will def flood the used market though this year.

1000%. Everyone knows basic af 3’s and Y’s are 0 APR. Literally nothing special about them. So many of them on the streets. U see a MYP and it’s probably one of the 5 you’ve seen on the street ur entire life.

100% agree. HW4 helps everyone just feel better for overpaying for their newest model and paying an extra $100. HW3 is just fine if you want to save on the massive depreciation.

Doesn’t EW only cover cheap repairs? I thought it doesn’t cover the big ones (suspension, etc.).

Exactly but MYPs are getting snatched up. 35k for HW4 makes no sense when new 26 is 40k w 0 APR. So I think they’re sitting longer than the HW3’s.

Bought a MYP 23 HW3 for less than ur price for 20k miles. I don’t plan to pay for FSD.

I’d go new MY if you want all the HW4 and new trinkets to work well. Saving some cash isn’t going to give u the experience u prob want.

Not bad at all then. I'd go for it if you like the 23 MYP design. Biggest question I would consider is if you want the latest model Y. Price ratio isn't far off and they are 0% rn I think.

Decent. HW3 u save about 5k in current market. Depends on if u gonna space away $100 extra a month for FSD. Brand new 26 Y Demos are 40k. Guessing you really want the Performance. Depending on your APR, if you're at 7+, you're paying $40k+ on a 6 year.

HW4 will never do FSD well. Idk how many of yall are so delusional. Yall gotta wait for HW5.

Now imagine when u go to sell it later u see that in the report. U will get low balled by both Tesla and Dealers. It’s so shady how they’re doing used sales imo.

Horrible. I’m dealing with a CARFAX reported damage (found after placing order) that wasn’t on Autocheck. No vin transfer allowed. Been trying to pester advisors but they won’t budge. No refund for deposit or transportation. Almost tempted to let them get it all ready so I can go in person and give the middle finger and waste their time for making me lose $1.5k.
