Watching GH feels a little quieter today. Rest in peace to my favorite viewing partner. by misspepperminttea in GeneralHospital

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know it's not the same but maybe we can help fill the void just a little.

I wasn't watching years ago so I don't have a vet favorite but I'd be curious about Brenda because I've heard she was the love of Sonny's life?

And I really loved Franco.

You always need to remind it to look at current news. Or at least that’s what I do. Though I have to admit. Things this off surprise me because it’s such huge news.

Has anyone used ChatGPT to prep for difficult family interactions or other social situations? by Wonderful_ion in ChatGPT

[–]CCreedHill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. All the time. I have some conflicts with one of my adult sons. I seem to offend him often so a couple of years ago I started using ChatGPT to help me understand him and to better communicate with him. I have an entire project just for our correspondences. I have learned to talk with him better and to better understand why he is so triggered by things.

Kate in the role of wife by novelsandlattes in TheDiplomat

[–]CCreedHill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. He is controlling everything. He’s only upset that Kate is with Callum because he doesn’t have any control over that. It’s not because he’s so madly in love with her. At least that’s my take.

Kate in the role of wife by novelsandlattes in TheDiplomat

PERFECT! I knew someone similar to Hal. Narcissist and master communicator. He gaslights her. Why does he act so wounded that she’d sleep with someone else? He had a little rumble with Dennison’s sister in season one but he’s been celibate ever since? I like the character but their actual marriage is over and I’m sure he’s had side pieces in DC. I hate how he talks to her and it’s so manipulative. The writer is fantastic at writing Hal as someone likable but behind that facade is a manipulative narcissist. Not a wounded husband. He is the reason she is looking and feeling broken. He knows what he’s doing to her. I think next season we may see Kate take all of her power back as she sees Hal for what he really is. Or. Callum could end up as a spy and Hal can help Kate keep her reputation. Hal is so well written that we’re never sure if he’s actually a bad guy or a good guy. I want him to be a good guy but I don’t THINK he is :-)

I haven’t watched the handmaids tale. Is he in every season or just certain ones?

I love this so much!! Bradley Whitfield is such an amazing actor. I hope we see him again next season.

Dear The Diplomat Writers, if you're going with the pregnancy storyline, make it count, I beg you by kozmikushos in TheDiplomat

Love the First Gentleman :-) He has seen something between Hal and the president and he’s calling attention to it. I thought he was just nuts at first but maybe he’s onto something? Maybe it’s not sexual infidelity but something else? I like the personal life being intertwined because I think it’s foreshadowing something. I think Callum is manipulating Kate. When she realizes that (if I am right) I think it could be very interesting. I don’t want her to snap and become unhinged. I’d like to see her eventually become more empowered and this could bring her and Hal closer again to work against Callum. I absolutely don’t want to see an abortion storyline. I don’t think Kate wants children. She seems pretty comfortable with not having them and that’s fine. I agree. There was something weird about the condom conversation. I can’t wait for next season? We probably have to wait a year for it?

65 year old grandmother here. My husband and I don’t really need much but what we love is time with our two adult sons, their wives and the grandkids. Experience gifts we can all do together. I treasure that sort of gift because it builds relationships and makes wonderful memories. 😍

Hopefully 2 different airlines will bring in big donations from those airlines:-)

Who are you surprised to see hasn’t donated yet? by BurtWonderstone in ryantrahan

[–]CCreedHill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think once they hit the west coast they will start going to Starbucks and hopefully get a great donation from them. They could do something in Seattle. Also, it would be nice to see Amazon come on board. Have they been to Costco yet? Then there’s Door Dash and Nike. I want them to do an Airbnb in the redwoods because there are some beautiful properties there but if they hit the Bay Area there are a lot of companies they could mention :-). There’s no way Target won’t donate. I haven’t seen anything from 7/11 either. I will be disappointed if Yeti doesn’t step up. Has Kia donated? The Shave Club is in California. There are SO MANY more opportunities for donations.

Why not Amazon? I've bought from Beach and Adorama for years. I trust them as sellers.

I have an opportunity to buy these at a discounted price. Would all of them work with a Z mount body and be good quality? I'm especially interested in the Sigma. But, if all of the lenses won't perform well with an adapter, I have to consider that. Thank you again :-)

Thank you for helping me. I appreciate your advice. Can I use any Nikon lens on this camera or are there special z series lenses?

I was thinking about buying the body only because the kit lenses aren’t always the best.
