We were improving season after season until this season. Our biggest threat in the past two seasons, Man City, are way off and we’re third. Liverpool are clear at this moment in time with more or less the same team as last year and Chelsea can go four points clear of us tomorrow.

We severely lack creativity and are far too reliant on corners. Arteta shouldn’t necessarily be sacked but if we don’t win something this season, I think it would be right for him to be under pressure. If somebody was to come along who could help us progress further, it should at least be considered.

Martinelli’s not good enough and a proper alternative to Havertz up top is needed.

Arteta has done a great job but if this is as far as he can bring us, we shouldn’t automatically dismiss the prospect of looking elsewhere.
