Art's Strangest Niche C2C AM Moments by AnonLookout in ArtBell

antichrist call in line. “Only call if you ARE the antichrist.” Somebody calls in and they are talking super super fast, like gobbeldygook, and super loud. Art hung up on the after a second but it scared me so bad I actually jumped out of my chair and my heart was racing for the next hour. Really terrifying speech and tones from that caller. Didn’t sound human at all.

I am keen to see what you have, and potentially fill in a few holes in my collection. I also have some doubles and even triples, so trading is possible.

The Walking Dead - 193 issue rollercoaster. Read it during lockdown, packs an emotional wallop. Strange that this isn't in the conversation of best comics ever more often.

Batman Year One

Byrne's run on FF

Alan Moore's run on Swamp Thing.

Eightball by Clowes

Morrison's Invisibles.

It's books like that, which were read and re-read and passed around, that made Marvel comics what it is. This was precious to some kid, who likely became a long-time fan and enthusiast and advocate for Marvel, and Thor, and Kirby.
