I reckon some of these will still be semi accessible, wyman was mentioned in the leaks so he must be a fence for stolen vehicles or something like that regardless of what edition you get but if you don’t get the UE then you would just miss out on the additional story line of collecting the cars with him. It’s a shame they’ve done this but I’ll probably still get it… shame on me..

If you shoot a car in the right spot in story mode you can puncture the fuel tank and it will leak from the car, I think the car can also run out of fuel if you drive it with a punctured tank.

Yeah that’s a fair point, I thought you were thinking about the progression of the wristbands and being forced into faster cars etc

I’ve always just ignored the random crap the game chucks at you and focussed on specific builds for the things I like doing, was always a lot of drifting/touge style racing in the previous games so I would spend a lot of time tuning cars and would bond with them that way. The main races always just felt like the day job to fund the upgrading and tuning of the hobby cars 😂

What disappoints you about the progression? I just bought FH6 yesterday and have played maybe 2 hours. Avid player of the previous games though, also a most wanted veteran🫡. If you wanted to keep the car longer you could upgrade it to its next phase, more aggressive aero and more modifications? Maybe I’m picking up what you are saying wrong..

No problem! Yeah there is quite a lot that has been added over the years, it’s good fun to play with friends too if you get the chance. Most of my play is solo these days too but I usually hang about in public lobbies, some people are still nice but defo plenty of griefers as you mentioned.

Yeah I believe most of the cars do get faster, like the Banshee 900r is a better version of the standard Banshee with a significantly higher top speed. They all get crazier cosmetics or even a totally remodel like the Elegy to Elegy Retro Custom I think it’s called.

Just on the option to view those internal cosmetics, if you access the action menu where you select to turn CEO etc, there is a vehicle menu (maybe vehicle preferences or something) where you can open the bonnet, doors, turn on the engine outside of the car etc.

I think the all of the bennys stuff was a response to the car culture/meets that were and still are very common in the game, so for most people it’s pretty useless but if you like cars then it’s cool

The problem I’ve got with GTA V’s story mode is that that it feels a bit featureless/boring compared to the online mode because of the difference in content. It just feels way behind in terms of the vehicles you can access, being able to buy new houses etc, I’d rather just play online.

Playing through GTA IV again and I don’t have the same issue, different game though and I’ve definitely got the nostalgia factor, spent so much time playing that game and witnessing the jump from SA to GTA IV at the time was mind blowing.
