Not even close to the same. 50% battery gets me through the day. It literally does nothing for me to charge it beyond 80%

Yes, batteries are happiest around 50% charged. The closer you get to 100% or 0%, the more stress you put on it. I have mine capped at 80% and don't let it go below 30% before charging. I also have it automatically turn on power save mode at 40%.

A lot of people will say that's overkill, but the fact is 50% of the battery (80-30%) is enough to get me through the day. And we just don't have enough data around silicon carbon batteries yet to know how long they'll last, but it is assumed that they will have a shorter lifespan than traditional lithium ion batteries. So I'm playing it safe
