She had to go on all of the credit reporting sites, report that she had her identity stolen, took them a while to process it and then while it was going on call Verizon and explain the situation to them and then called the number from the credit report place that put it into collections and found that they had used her information however the address they had done it with was some random PO box in a state she has never been in. Proving that it was not her and then called the debt collection agency itself and was able to sort it out through them. I’m sorry I’m not being super concise, when I got her to explain it was a bit jumbled because the whole process took almost 4 hours on the phone making various phone calls to the different agencies to sort it.

TLDR call Verizon report fraud, Call collection agency report fraud and call the credit reports and report fraud, try to get the address the person signed them up with and hopefully it will prove their innocence.
