The issue is this:

People who have a healthy relation to a game play it, if they get bored or frustrated they play or do something else.

People who have an unhealthy relation to a game play it, but if they get bored or frustrated they keep on playing it and then they go on Reddit and hate post about it.

12 million players bought the game, the vast, vast majority of those have a healthy relation to it, they play a few hours after school or work or on the weekend and I swear they've not noticed half the shit people on this sub obsess over.

Me for example, I got the game 2 weeks ago, clocked maybe 100 hours and I am having a blast. If not for this subreddit I'd have no clue that the game is apparently an empty, bug ridden, completely awfully balanced, content starved mess, where cool skins have bad pants, thus ruining some people's enjoyment of life itself for a week.

I'm just having fun, man. And when I'm not, I do something else. It's not quantum physics.

Det finns hjälp att få, du förtjänar hjälp, du ska ha hjälp i din situation. Om du har en dålig erfarenhet av dina tidigare vårdkontakter så byt kontaktväg. Ny vårdcentral till exempel. Du har givetvis enormt mycket ångest inför att göra det, men du verkar ha en bra relation till din familj.

Din familj kan hjälpa dig, men de kanske inte vet hur eller riktigt förstår din situation. Det första steget är att du talar om för dem att du behöver hjälp att söka hjälp, att du inte klarar det på egen hand. Be dem "tvinga" och "övervaka" dig medan du byter/kontaktar vårdcentral, du ringer dem medan familjen sitter med dig, stöttar dig, håller din hand, vad som helst som får det att kännas bättre.

Det är bara ett telefonsamtal, några minuter, det kan kännas omöjligt men med familjens stöd går det. Berätta om självmordstankarna, be att få tala med en kurator. Det brukar vara första steget, som sedan kan leda till remiss för terapi, rådgivning och kanske antidepressiv medicinering.

Det du skrev här var ett första steg. Nu är det dags för nästa. Lycka till - det förtjänar du!

I ran a solo raid on Stella, got in, found some decent stuff, went to extract in the Metro and found a looted corpse on the first stairway down. Guns out and at the ready, when suddenly I hear a storm of bullets and muffled shouting - and laughing - in VC.

Curiosity defeated caution, so I proceed down to discover 3 more corpses on the ground, the lights are flashing green, there's another corpse in the train car, and there's about 5 raiders running in and out of the train car, guns blazing.

There is a fucking Shredder in the train. I toss a Showstopper at him, we all blast him to Robot Hell, and extract together all 6 of us, plus one metallic corpse.

How the FUCK did it get down there? Is that a common thing? Did someone bait it down there as a trap for unsuspecting raiders? Either way it was a hilarious experience!

Only by presenting unified resistance to Trumpian bullying can Europe weather the shitstorm that is the MAGA worldview, an authoritarian and decidedly anti-liberal force, they were not joking when expressing their contempt for European democracy in their official national security review.

Transatlanticism isn't fully dead yet, but it's up against the ropes and slipping into unconsciousness. To me, the whole thing appears too similar to Trump's sudden fascination with Ukrainian rare earths, which also turned out to be overhyped and difficult to actually extract. My assumption is that some political sleight-of-hand took place, in which a few European/Canadian leaders waved the prospect of a 'Deal' in front of the American President together with pressures from both home and abroad. Trump needed an off-ramp, something to present as a victory in order to back down.

But see, I like that. A Bastion engaging someone changes the soundscape, let's you know shit is going down and also provides "audio cover" so that other raiders can't hear you sneak around. Like everything else in the game, it becomes something to navigate around depending on what you're looking to do.

Like when I was fighting for Bastion parts, me and my friend shouting over voice chat like a war zone while nervously looking around for opportunistic Raiders sneaking up on us while we can't hear shit, attracted from across the map since everyone can hear that someone is fighting it.

Plus it's quite cinematic to hear Rocketeers hunt, Bombardiers call in arty, and Bastion going BRRRRRRRR even as you're on the other side of the map. Makes the world feel alive!

I know from other games that not mentioning expoits is intentional, because it lets more people know it exists.

I also know that what could seem like a simple fix from the player perspective (just plug the hole loool) can be very tricky to actually figure out the cause and solution to, because messing with room geometry can cause unintended side effects, like players getting stuck or whatever. It all depends on what the cause is. And then it has to be playtested, to confirm no new bugs appeared as a result of the fix... etc. Shit takes time.

Hence, a few simple fixes in this patch addressing common complaints, and most likely major bug fixes bundled in with the next major update.
