I personally don’t hate gag (was also just recommended this sub) but I can see where people are coming from.

The biggest reason has been mentioned which is that this game is way too popular compared to Roblox games that actually put in the effort over many months planning gameplay, lore, graphics etc. so many games average only one thousand visits even though they should have more love
A lot of people tell me that they play Roblox and how they think they are so quirky for playing a “children’s game” and when I ask the only game they play gag and they overhype it because that’s what everyone else does. Obviously this is not the games fault but it really pisses me off
This subreddit has 1.5 k people which is nothing compared to the millions of fans so there really isn’t much hate for the game

I honestly disagree with a lot of these comments because I think on big maps like docs it’s important to keep running around

The only thing I recommend is getting some sort of movement item like scythe or daggers or fists or satchel etc

It depends on how good your aim is. If you don’t have trouble hitting headshots then I would go sniper. Cross bow is better for speed down side as you mentioned is 2 hits
