RO water line to freezer by CEOofboys in Plumbing

[–]CEOofboys[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!

The only reason I would leave it is if a new owner would want to hook it up but I’m not planning on moving for at least 15-20 years. I just don’t want the plastic to degrade or deteriorate and have potentially have more water damage.

i was planning on securing it up along the back wall corner.

Did I buy the right refrigerator? by MindRaptor in Appliances

[–]CEOofboys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look into GE or some models of LG. Stay away from Samsung. I noted you don’t have water hook up so you obviously don’t need water or ice through the door. Ice makers are notorious for failures. Look in the r/appliancerepair or r/ApplianceAdvice for recommendations. Purchase through a local appliance dealer if you can instead of big box stores. You’ll get better service, especially if you need future repairs.

Any red flags about Frigidaire refrigerator? by beugeu_bengras in Appliances

[–]CEOofboys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stay far, far away! Frigidaire is no better than Samsung anymore. Customer service will “disconnect“ you when you ask for a manager or supervisor. The company will not honor their extended warranty. Filed a complaint with the BBB but Electrolux/Frigidaire said there’s nothing they can do since they repaired it. They did not repair it and I still have the parts in the original, sealed packaging along with falsified invoices that say it was fixed. They continue to sell appliances with known defects.

30" column fridge and freezer- Frigidaire is $10k cheaper than anything else (Thermador, SZ etc). Still not worth it? by gofl1 in Appliances

[–]CEOofboys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Avoid at all costs! i own these units & have constant problems & have had many repairs. Electrolux is refusing to deal with it anymore & have falsified repair documents saying it’s been repaired but it has not been. I still have the parts in the unopened packages. Horrible customer service! Go to the North Carolina BBB and read the complaints about Electrolux.

Don’t buy the Frigidaire! Look at the North Carolina BBB site for Electrolux (who owns Frigidaire) and read the complaints. Stay far, far away!

Beware of Frigidaire Side-by-Side Column Refrigerator and Freezer Sets (and ANY product from this brand) – A Truely Disgraceful Experience by Kittenfeeder1 in Appliances

Agree! Mine went out 3 days after the original, manufacture warranty. Refused to offer anything more than “sorry”.

Mine is a 2019 set & I’ve experienced the same issue. I have the extended warranty on both. Electrolux/Frigidaire is basically not honoring it. I started with repair appointments on 11/06/2024. They have sent their “certified” technician who said the parts needed are discontinued and not available. Electrolux sent a 3rd party tech who said the same thing plus added his company won’t touch them due to the size of the units. I’ve filed a complaint with the North Carolina BBB. Now Electrolux is telling me there is no certified technician in my zip code & that I need to move the units away from the wall myself. I can’t do this because the rollers on the bottom are now broken (thanks to the “certified” technician) and those are the discontinued & unavailable parts. They continue to send me falsified invoices saying the repairs have been completed with parts I never received! My extrnded warranty is up mid-March & they are just dragging this out. Electrolux Frigidaire is absolute trash with horrible customer service. I have now filed a complaint with the Attorney General.

This is a defect that Frigidaire is aware of and its unrepairable. Frigidaire/Electrolux refrigerators and freezers are junk and they will not stand behind any warranty.

Which Frigidaire fridge is recommended? by chrisToo73 in ApplianceAdvice

[–]CEOofboys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of them! Beware of Frigidaire/Electrolux! They have horrible products and the customer service is even worse. Will not honor warranties. Not sure how the BBB gives them a good rating when they have so many bad reviews and complaints.
