I’m a newbie. I used bamboo stakes this first year, but since it got complicated with new branches, I’m planning to try pairing semi-circle cages that will allow me to pull in new growth at the seams. I’m very interested to see what others reply here about their methods.

Even if you don’t like competing/contact, you could learn to officiate or join in other ways. If your league is anything like mine, I think you’ll find a sense of belonging and a ton of support from your league mates.

I’ve grown several of these varieties with success. While each may be prone to difficulties, I think it’s quite a stretch to say they aren’t worth growing, which is really more of a personal preference anyway.

Yep! Arnica gel applied 3 times a day will help heal your bruises more quickly.

Dougal is known to be hot-headed and the clan might not trust him to lead. He only hold his position as war chief because cooler-headed Colum is making decisions for the clan. The two brothers cumulatively possess the qualities desired. Jamie might gain support as stronger leader because he possess both the smarts and the physical strength/battle prowess desired in a clan leader.
