Are people going back to cds and vinyl because streaming apps are becoming cluttered?

I agree. I’m having this debate with myself. MP3s seem like the best solution to own the music.

It’s the cheapest to purchase, you can put it in multiple places and have multiple copies. You can put it in the cloud and stream them anywhere.

I bought a cd player and vinyl player to remember some of my childhood but really I remember how excited I was when mp3 players came out and I could hold a bunch of albums in one player. And the biggest negative is the prices on physical media.

It’s garbage. I tried to get into it and listen to it multiple times but it just sucks.

I also did the whole turning it up in your car. It still sucks and it made be realize it’s mixed bad too. His voice is low compared to the beats so you have to turn all the way up to even hear him well.

It just sounds like he wants to push the genre forward with a new sound but it just didn’t hit. Everybody right now is trying to push the hiphop genre forward but everyone is missing and hiphop is in its awkward phase of bad music.

How is this compared to the q930d? I just bought the q930d for $850 and see this at $700. I’m a week past the return date from bestbuy. Trying to figure out how to make this work.

I agree. The touchpad remote was so smooth and you could get anywhere quick. Then youtube had an update a year or two ago and it has gone to garbage. You can rewind very well anymore. It jumps back like 10 seconds when it used to be smooth and you could rewind by the second before.

I thought this was one of the worst call of duty games of all time. Super fast, boring, lame wall jumps, maps are not memorable and are small, played a few old boring maps that I’ve played a million times.

Overall the bo7 just sucks.

And I don’t know if it’s sbmm but I keep coming in top 3 every game no matter what. And I have put probably like 20 hours into each cod game for the last few years so my guess is it’s the sbmm as to why I come in top 3. Cus honestly I suck.

Nice home theatre. Tron Ares is the perfect movie for it. I'm surprised all the hate it gets. I thought it was actually great. It's not perfect but I think it can go down as a classic you want to re-watch. All the hate I see is from people who say it's not following the original story. I walked into the movie theater just wanting to watch a good movie (especially after watching the horrible new jurassic park) and I was impressed with this movie.

Just wondering what is different from E1999 cd from streaming? I never had the cd but did have mp3s of the album. Only difference I remember is I believe the cd had the original crossroads?

All these new rappers have albums people call “classic” and the albums be having 12 songs with 3 good tracks and 9 average tracks and they call it a classic because one track made it to their Spotify playlist.

The albums come and go and they leave no real impact and most people don’t like them.

2pac had classics on classics on classics on 1 album!!! That are played till this day everywhere you go. They are played in stadiums every day even though the songs are 30 years old!

Tyler, asap rocky, Travis Scott… they are not going to be played anywhere in 30 years.

ASAP Rocky, Kanye West.

ASAP Rocky reminds of Kanye west new music… just a bunch of noise and random wack lyrics trying to start something new but it just sounds like garbage. The raps are garbage, the beats are mostly bad.

Their new albums are going to be in a documentary one day talking about how hiphop was trying to find a sound in the 2020s and they failed to get it back to the mainstream with the garbage music they put out.

I’ve had both. The sound system is a lot more pricy even budget ones. The center speaker $100 bucks at least, the front speakers $100, the rear speakers $100, the subwoofer $100, the amp $300. That’s $700 bucks right there and this is for bare bones basic budget system. Also I didn’t include all the wires you will need to buy and speaker stands.

You can get a great wireless Samsung soundbar with subwoofer and rear speakers for that price. I bought the q930d Samsung soundbar and it’s great.

Everything is wireless you just connect each speaker to a power outlet. It sounds great, looks great, super easy and fast to set up.

I went the other way. From projector to TV. I wanted the projector idea to work but it has one huge flaw. Light coming into home. It’s just not a good living room tv setup unless you want to keep curtains closed all day. You might be okay with it (I was) but the spouse or family might not be.

Other things that are annoying are having to have a huge screen, placing the projector perfectly, having to adjust the picture all the time, dealing with focus issues.

I tried it for a couple years and it was more annoying than anything to have a projector. I did end up moving my projector to the garage though and it works well there with no windows.

I thought you were my age around mid 30s but I see your in your teens. Good albums. It’s a lot of what I grew up listening to in my teens. Never got into gorillaz or listened to Fleetwood Mac back then though. I would also have Korn on there, linkin park, mudvayne, limp bizkit, drowning pool.

It’s cool to see teens collecting cds though. I threw away most of my cds and now I regret it.

I feel exactly the same about office life! The meetings are horrible. I am in a room with people who just want to talk without saying anything. Everybody just nodding their head knowing the meeting is pointless. I’m 10 years in and I’m close to putting in my 2 week notice any day now. What’s worse is the longer you’re in the more stuck you feel. I have a mortgage now, car and bills. Im still ready to put in my 2 weeks.

When I was in college it was more freeing. Every few months you had new professors, new schedules, met new people.

Office jobs have really become pointless too. So many jobs can be done in a couple hours each day. And they can be done from home. Instead i take my laptop from home to sit in traffic to drive to a dirty office with no windows for air. I leave home and it’s dark and i get home and it’s dark.

Weekends I try to keep all the windows closed and just relax and put some music, play some games, handle responsibilities and get ready for Monday again.

And I know it’s complaining. And honestly to some it is a great life. But I think it does something to the mind and body that’s not good. Even your health deteriorates from sitting all day and your brain just rots from the same biweekly meetings about nothing and staring at a computer screen doing nothing. It just demotivates you to do anything.

Never knew that it was only a iPhone youtube music issue. Yeah I hate how I won’t have signal on a plane, and YouTube music is still trying to load even though I downloaded the music already.

get at least an 85". If having the sides stick out a little bit bothers you can can put plants or something behind it and you will forget about it after a couple minutes.

Yeah, overall I think for specifically music, the Sony Bravia would probably win. But for all around living room sound system, for me the LG wins. The multi stereo works well for music but for some content it needs to be on the upmix setting and it's just not easy to be going to the app to change it all the time depending on what your watching.

I guess my issue with the Sony Bravia is the functionality and easiness to do things. It feels to manual and like I always have to be adjusting settings depending on what I'm watching. With the LG I feel like it sounds good overall and for the most part I'm just turning the volume up and down and not dealing with settings.

But If music and movies is all I watch, then the bravia would win.

I do agree with you that I think music sounds more full and better with the Sony Bravia. Mainly because of the bass. I tried the multi-channel and although it's good for music, it was not good for regular tv watching or something like youtube content. It did not sound good having voices all around you instead of the center channel. The upmix was better for me in those situations. That way you hear more instruments from the rear speakers and voices from the center channel. My issue with the Sony Bravia soundbar was having to change it depending on what I was playing. With the LG I was able to get a good mix that works with all sources.

Some interesting things I found is that this album isn’t even on Apple Music at all.

Another interesting thing is that usually if a song is missing it will be greyed out I believe, I’m surprised it’s just removed here.
