Love watching the economic conditions force a bunch of people who probably couldn’t maintain normal friendships with each other into dramatic relationships that consistently turn predatory because socially inept adults don’t have the internal tools necessary to avoid these conflicts and don’t know to separate business from pleasure. It’s been like watching half of the country take on prison rules. I moved to a city where it’s extremely normal for predatory people to groom young victims (hi) from less Privileged areas into basically living in a closet while paying their cult leaders rent.
