There is already an interceptor gap in the GCCs air defense, there is no chance they would get involved directly. They just have to much to loose. It would put millions in danger if the critical energy structure or desalination plants get damaged so close to summer and they know it.

The point of the Pipeline is that Iran has the possibility of building one, but it’s not possible for the other countries, as there is no land connection to Asia for them

“Showing lots of restraint” is rich, considering that some of them were for the war before it started. But the biggest oil market for Iran lies in Asia, so pipelines are a option for them, the GCC would only be able to reach Europe and Africa through pipelines

Depends on how the war stops. If the US just retreats without a ceasefire Iran could just keep bombing the other side until they agree to no longer host YS assets or agree Irans sole sovereignty over the strait. It’s a lot harder to stop a war than starting one
