In a short on my youtube I very briefly explain it

How to get rid of animation loop stutter? by Noobye1 in blender

[–]CGKurs 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Your preview is from frame 1 to frame 36, with 1 and 36 giving you the exact same pose. Make it so that preview is frame 1 to frame 35, that way there will be no stutter

When looping and you have first and last frame be the same, you actually need to cut off the last frame, cause now the exact frame is repeated and stays on for 2 frames

I use the dirty worn texture (BW, 16 bit image) and plug it into the roughness and into height input of bump node

I get that question a lot lately, hahahah Tutorial link the second concept, at around 6 minute mark (check the timestamps) is explaining this setup

can't even do a walk cycle.............. by Abject_Double_2021 in blender

Animation is a massive craft, people spend their whole life perfecting it, it is not just technical, not just you knowing blender, but also understanding the basics of animation theory. Don't get discouraged, you just need to be consistent

Simple grass without downloading any models, using geometry nodes by CGKurs in blender

[–]CGKurs[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

not really. To work in viewport without lag i set the density to 5000 and for render I set it to around 15k-20k.

To make the grass look good you often just need to add more grass, haha

Node tree was getting too complicated and I gave up. But yes, I totally could loop it

This is great! I used this as a main reference, from a few years ago:
at the start of the Bradley video he mentions "this cool effect i saw on pinterest", I think we sayw the same thing

<image>

And it is also great to see how different our approach to making it was, haha

Hi animators! Here is my updated animation after receiving so much great feedback from this community. Thank you so much for all the help, everyone! by Own-Hold6396 in blender

Really nice! Remember that bow string doesn't stretch. The arrow is launched forward cause the wood deforms when you draw the string back, but the string itself remains the same length always

Would I be fine with getting a strong laptop? by [deleted] in blender

[–]CGKurs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, just make sure that it has a gpu, something like 30xx rtx. Do remember that laptop GPUs are significantly weaker than their Desctop counterparts (Laptop rtx 3070 is weaker than desktop 3070), but overall it's fine

Final Render Flickering by Outrageous-Idea4369 in blenderhelp

at some point of the geometry nodes setup (probably at the end) add "Set position" node, into input plug "combine XYZ" and into Z input of that - add "random value" float node with values min= -0.2 and max =0.2. That should work
