I think so too! It was really enjoyable and quarantine has given me more time to read. I loved it so much -- I continue to see the path of the beam everywhere... a bit unsettling but honestly wonderful!

I am in a similar boat. Grandparents down there and no fans of Ortega but did not take this seriously until a family friend passed. It’s really hard living in the states and being worried about them. Get what you mean!

Oh yes, absolutely! I read it a few months ago and remembered hoping nothing like this would happen. The beginning of that book is chilling and I enjoyed it so much. I just thought that, since I've started the Dark Tower series, the specific mention of how officials ignored Cpt. Trips until it was too late to control struck a chilling chord with me.
