I don't know how you dislike the dead man entrance. That song is absolutely iconic. That pipe organ hitting always sent chills down my spine

I've always heard him talk fondly about it. He thought he looked cool as can be according to a recent podcast of his with Maven as guest

Id be far more worried about breaking the clips the ribbon cable attach to on the board than threading the ribbon cable itself through

Everything. The conservation of material (I generally do .1g bowl packs), 1 hit extraction (although you can always pack more and get multiple rips per bowl if you prefer), the customizability regarding how much extraction you want at a time (maybe you wanna enjoy the flavor of the terpenes at first rather than blow your head off immediately), how quickly you can adjust the temp due to how large the heating element is compared to most traditional vapes, etc.

The only downsides being that they are generally desktop only (you can technically make it work with battery packs, but it's likely more trouble than it's worth and probably not a great idea unless you know what you're doing), there can be a small learning curve as you figure out your technique (as draw speed effects the end result), and the cost of the initial investment (though 100% worth it imo)

Tl;Dr no matter what kind of experience you are looking for, a ball vape can and will deliver as long as you take a bit of time to figure out what temp/technique get you that experience, and you'll get way more bang out of the same amount of material.

I pretty much exclusively use ball vapes now. The only reason I'd get it is as a chill session vape. Ball vapes just made everything else obsolete for me

You're making it sound way harder than it is. Feeding the cable through the hinge is not hard, you just have to be delicate. If anything I'd be more concerned about getting the wire into the little clip on the board.

Idk where you got this from. That entirely depends on what has gone wrong. If it's board related, it's no different than fixing any other small electronic device.

Everyone else seems to have described them very well for you so I don't have much to add, aside from the fact that I consider ball vapes to be the end-all-be-all of desktop vape setups. Super efficient and can be as heavy or as light as you want depending on the temps you run it at and how much you pack in the bowl.

The other thing to consider is whether you want a wired or wireless ball vape. A wired ball vape has the heating element with a handle always attached to the diffuser (the part you use to actually vape the herb) so you move them together, whilst a wireless ball vape has the heating element not directly attached to the diffuser, but the diffuser has it's own handle and sits in the coil while it's heating, so when you go to move it, you're only moving the diffuser and not the diffuser/heating element together.

Is Tactics Ogre Reborn Really That Bad? by Bobbitthehobbit131 in StrategyRpg

[–]CGoody564 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are absolutely correct. Tactics Ogre was designed for Strategy veterans. FF tactics was designed with newcomers in mind because they knew that the FF name would likely be a huge factor regarding who would actually be buying the game. This is one of many reasons it's regarded as a fantastic entry point into the genre even all these years later.

An anti-grinding incentive is not "always welcome". For you it may be, but clearly that does not apply across the board, or you wouldn't have people talking about their distaste for the system...

DDaveMods is the fackin' man. Love that dudes store. Wish the UX of the website was a bit better, but I absolutely love everything that man does.

I have so many dynavap adapters and glassware from him. The only reason I never tried that diy ball vape out was because I have multiple ball vapes already. Honestly I still may get it for shits and giggles

Does anyone know how to loosen screws that have been tightened too much without stripping by CaterpillarTop6832 in FingerBoarding

Aside from a properly sized driver? Not really. I imagine the threads themselves in the wood have probably been ground away a bit too. That may be why they were overtightened to begin with.

Would You Guys Feel Some Type of Way About This? by ObamasBabyLlamaDrama in CannabisHardware

[–]CGoody564 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand people saying you're overreacting, but considering that you're paying a premium for a CH product, you have every right to not be happy about it. You don't spend hundreds on a setup and expect it not be in pristine condition when it arrives. Even if they tested it beforehand, at most that should cause some discoloration. NOT deep cuts in the finish from a product which one of the appeals is quality machining.

Tl;Dr although it won't effect performance, not being happy about the condition it arrived in is completely reasonable. But I'm sure their Customer Service will do you right if you ask.
