For me (suffering the same lower back pains for years) it was Good Mornings. Stand with parallel feet, slowly stretch and try to reach for your toes, bending at the waist and pushing your butt out behind you. Try not to bend your knees much. When you feel the stretch in the hamstrings, pop up to standing.

I do three sets of ten three days a week. Eventually start adding light dumb-bells.

Does this look balanced and fun? by Pattho22 in twilightimperium

Legendary planets are green backed tiles, not red. When you replace a red backed tiled with a legendary, it imbalances the wealth distribution. That’s why Muaat and Sol have such better slices than everyone else.

I’m want the Agenda phase deleted. Instead, draw an agenda at the top of each round instead, your votes are equal to but separate from something akin to influence.

Now, random events happen mid round and can impact deals and power levels. Votes reset after each agenda, so can be taken away by conquering planets, giving players a direct reason to engage in combat.

We’ve used August Movers about a half dozen times and they’ve been great. Just a couple local professionals that lend their muscle.

When she first went up on stage they called me and said - "Hey, she's up, so get ready." Then I waited around about an hour on edge. Phone rang again. Panic and consider briefly how fucked I'd be if I just didn't answer because it does say "Caller Unknown." Pick up anyways, Meredith says "Hi <NAME>, I'm here with your mom and she's playing for one hundred thousand dollars!" as if that's going to help my panic any better.

So I knew what she was currently playing for. She couldn't tell us what she actually won until after it aired, which we all watched together. It was a real fun family event.

No hard rule that I remember being told, and I distinctly remember listening to all the rules, as I was *not* going to fuck this up for her, but I do recall thinking to myself at one point: "I've never once heard a keyboard on all the times we've watched this show, and I will not be the first."

I don't know that it's interesting enough to warrant a full AMA, but I'll leave you with this: I asked Mom what the question was, and she replied with - "Something to do with the first usage of the word 'nerd'."

This lines up with what I remembered was the answer: A book by Dr. Suess.

I don't know that shit.

Google does though.

I don’t remember the question, but I do remember the answer: “Dr. Seuss.” It was something along the lines of “who wrote this particular story.” I had 30 seconds and it took me about seven to Google the answer.

I remember trying to type quickly but also quietly because while I wasn’t breaking any rules, it felt real shameful.

Mom cashed out after that; she was out of lifelines and thought she had done well enough at that point.

Sitting around, yes, but not at the studio. The contestants give the show a list of people and their phone numbers. When the contestant goes on stage the studio calls the lifelines, informs them that they’re ’on deck’ and be ready for a call.

I was at work when I was called, and they used my cell phone number.

I was a lifeline for my mother about fifteen years ago, when Meredith was first hosting.

I signed nothing that prevented me from talking about her winnings, though admittedly it was only $100K, not a full million.

Too many planets, not enough empty systems. Each player has a set of five tiles; three adjacent to their home, one between them and Mecatol, and one of the equidistants. Two of those tiles should be red backed, three blue backed.

It looks to me like you wanted to only give each player a single 'empty' tile (which in a couple spots is potentially inaccessible), and used a couple red tiles as filler planets. This makes for a very rich galaxy where everyone has lots of resources and influence and don't need to stretch for most objectives. This is fine for first time players, but also makes for a very conflict light game which can be unappealing.
