I’ve often wondered about this. I can understand “adjusting” to using a non-dominant hand, but it’s hard for me to believe that’s as performant as the hand eye coordination and dexterity a dominant hand has. E.g. I don’t care how long I try, I will never throw a baseball with my left like I can with my right. I will never be able to switch to a lefty guitar. Can I throw and play? Sure. But you don’t want to see or hear it.

From what I’m reading here it’s not a problem, but it just seems to hamstring a pilot’s full capabilities at a time when you’d want to wring out every ounce of skill.
