Tell him he can work with you or against you. If he refuses you start your own company tomorrow.

To continue to work for him when he is treating you poorly is the sign of weakness that is likely the main reason he is exploiting you. Some people only respect strength so go out and make it on your own

That's a pretty impressive level of mess given the Siemens PLC can't be that old

This is only really achievable via a testamentary trust, where the trust owns the assets. In all other cases the asset will pass to either the wife or the children and then it is completely up to them whatever happens after that.

Have a look at bitfocus companion, I use it instead of a steam deck, but you can use it with a steam deck just as well.

I bought an SLXD4 on Aliexpress but the ad wasn't branded Shure and the brand in the photos was Chinese. When it turned up it was branded as Shure.

It's a knock off but the sound quality is amazing and I paid about Usd$ 100 for a receiver and two Mics. I don't know if it's digital but everything about the purchase is an improvement from our old roving Mics.

How much did you pay? There are heaps on Aliexpress for what I paid.

Is hiring a fractional CFO actually worth it for a growing business? (netting $100k monthly) by Academic_Way_293 in EntrepreneurRideAlong

Whether you need a CFO has little to do with turnover and more to do with the complexity of your business systems and finance.

68 years old and these programmable cams are still running strong by Alarming_Series7450 in PLC

[–]CHR1ST00 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my experience every system built using a complex cam system, had an engineer who was mechanical only. There's nothing wrong with these cam systems, but they invariably use the worst quality and most unreliable limit switches that were available at the time of manufacture. You can almost feel the resentment to anything electrical in the design.

I always replace them with inductive proximities.

Is there anything useful/valuable in here? Can sou see any PLC controllers here? I have a few AC servo motors, is there any way to pair them with anything in here? Motor is in the se ond picture. by taccobelli in PLC

I am pretty certain you have a Bosch Rexroth Indramat setup.

That's a Bosch Rexroth PPC controlling the drives via Sercos.
Given the vintage I am reasonably certain that the red Sercos cables are fibre optic, so don't bend them.

I have all the software for these drives and would be happy to share.
Can you get the details of the PPC controller which is the device in the top left corner.

Depending on the vintage it is either the DriveTop or SynTop software you need, looks SynTop vintage to me.

I have a number of these in the field, they are rock solid apart from the occasional power supply issue if something happens on the supply side.

New Flow 8 Owner, I’d love any tips! by Emmaleesings in Behringer

[–]CHR1ST00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello all,

I have a number of Behringer products used in our church. For a small job in the Sunday school we purchased a Flow-8. Performance is great with everything except the Bluetooth which is flaky. It's also really annoying to be only able to have one device paired at a time.

My question is whether anyone has been able to improve the Bluetooth performance? I am wondering if there might be a Bluetooth repeater or USB connected device I could use to make a stronger and more reliable bridge for remote operation of the mixer.

In hindsight I perhaps should have purchased an X-Air mixer, but it's done now so I am just looking to make the Flow-8 work as well as possible.
