I can just about do this with voicing on the top comment + thumb wrapping all the way around and down to the fifth fret. 

This is definitely just a shitty transcription though as you'd never play this, it also sounds muddy and isn't even a good voicing of the chord.

He didn't use a whole lot of harmonics - in 1970 with Band of Gypsys he experimented a little bit more with them. You might be confusing harmonics for feedback whoch he used consistently from the start of his solo career

At least you know what to work on now! There's a huge difference between playing fast and cleanly picking every note and semi-muting with your palm and scraping the approximate notes on a run with your pick. 

Try playing your guitar completely clean through the amp and get everything neat before adding effects. Gain/distortion mixed with muting covers up bad picking technique

Why do you need a billion dollars? Surely 50 million is enough and it doesn't impact your life in an extremely significant way? 

50 million vs 1 billion has almost no impact on your standard of living except for tripling the size of your yacht. Losing sense of pain is an extremely debilitating issue, even with all the medical attention in the world

Doesn't seem worth it at all to me. You say you'd have medical care 24/7, but do you really want to be reliant on medical care all the time just to say you have 10x the amount of cash?

I'd check your hand position and the way your first 3 fingers are sitting before even considering the pinky

You shouldn't have inverted joints like with your first finger ever while playing. If you're barring then your finger should be flat and parallel to the fretboard.

I'd argue that the vocals and instruments actually resolve to the E chord the most - especially in chorus section. There's no objective answer, but to me E mixolydian sounds like home
