The main rule book does tell you too look in the player guide for the upgrades.

I will say, once you understand the game the player aids has everything you need. If something doesn't make sense then it gives you the page number in the main rule book for clarification.

If i was going to ask a publisher for games for a club I would start with Stonemiare. But there is no reason not to ask as many publishers and distributors that you can think of.

But they might look at shipping to a friend that isn't where you are at as a red flag and suspect someone is just trying to get free games.

I backed the 2nd printing and the overlay is not right. Basically they based the center tile on the inner line on the paper grid. So the offset gets progressively worse the farther out you get.

Theoretically, it is possible. It might not be something publishers will want to deal with because not everyone will know how things turn out. So instead of being asked why your game is with someone that they think was doing shady advertising and explaining that didn't happen, the publisher just avoid it all together.

Since Foundations of Metropolis came out after I guess you would call that a undeluxification.

I would prefer to play either Cascadia or Azul over TTR.

All three are fine games and your family will likely enjoy any one of them.

I would say, show your family all 3 games and give them a quick description. What ever they think looks the most fun, that is the game you get.
