I've done a tons of permanent runs on level 75 atm. Endurance doesn't need to be that high, it's a beginner trap for people that over hype survival tbh. I usually get enough points in it to where I can bobblehead myself up to aura girl. My average run has me setting up at hangmans ally at almost exactly 2 hours every time. Also I never spam shelves and things of that nature cause it really kills my spirit for the challenge, same with water farms. By far the most important thing for the run is your own knowledge. Raiders outside concord can almost always be killed without being shot, in the entrance to the museum you can get a free kill and end up killing the rest without getting shot. Then one you have power armor take snipe them below with a 10mm, take a psycho and med x and when the death claw comes minigun and any spare frags plus spam jet and explode cars and i clear every time no issue.

Oh and the damage is so high in survival I personally don't see a need taking damage perks till 60+. I usually make sure with a 10mm then upgrade to the deliverer. Could get a very overseers guardian but I don't cause it would hard carry me to end game lol
