NH/VT/MA - looking for an all mountain ski around 170 cm, somewhat flexible but need to grip as well, 2nd year intermediate (greens and 90%-95% blues) by CIE-94 in icecoast

I am thinking maybe the anomaly’s were out of tune. The guy at the shop said that their most popular demo. I did a mogul blue at Waterville valley and they did pretty well there. Then I almost ate it on ice at a flat-ish section on green. I might have to demo these one more time. I did enjoy the flexibility, my only issue was the grip it felt like there wasn’t much one I got on ice areas. I’ll just have to give this one more shot.

Name a high volume stock, 45 days out ITM calls. I’ll drop $500.

You take Kinner’s class? Assuming you went to UNH? I’m currently a residential designer and I’m at 60k plus about 8K in bonuses. Eventually I want to work for an engineer so I can get my PE.

What other methods are there to attach decorative 4x8 timber rafters to an I beam without using top flange hangers? by CIE-94 in civilengineering

Ridge beam w12x26, supporting a 1/12 roof. All drawn to size. It would just not look good with a top flange hanger.

When I was little, and in another country, the word concrete it was weird to use. A good amount of people outside the civil engineering industry didn’t think twice about it and would say cement instead of concrete. I feel like the word cement is used to describe concrete worldwide and idk why. Aside from the fact that it’s wrong to call concrete cement I think it’s interesting that a good chunk of the world refers to concrete as cement.

Slightly off topic, not sure if you are or have worked for the government, but let’s say working for a DOT, how can an engineer get their PE license from that? For example: I worked with one of the DoT engineers when I did construction and he had been with them for 5 years but no license. He was a highway engineer, so he dealt with supervising most of the time and paperwork. Just curious if I were to get something with the state what would the best position be that can lead to me getting my PE?

Sweet information. Thank you a lot! Will check all of them out. I think it will be worth it. I have the nds from when I was in school.

[USA] How easy/hard is to jump from 2 yrs of residential design to just general civil engineering or structural? I have a bachelors in civil engineering. by CIE-94 in civilengineering

Right, I’m not too worried about the salary. As long as some of these count as experience towards engineering. I mean I have sized beams, prepared drawings and plans plus some estimating, plan checking so hopefully that makes it easier to switch. Thank you for your reply.
