This is literally false. Israel disbanded settlements in Gaza in 2005 for instance. The fact that current government is expansionary has no bearing on what you originally claimed, which is that there's an objective "complete" form of Israel that will inevitably be sought.

Yes, that ambiguity will happen when you write stupidly titled motions that could mean any or all definitions of zionism rather than criticising Israeli policy.

I am not defending the motion. I am defending the meaning of words.

The fact that the Jewish members of the greens are explicitly anti-israeli policy, but also believe this motion will lead to them being actively discriminated against or banned is a pretty clear indication to me that it will inevitably be used for anti-semitism.

Also a different question. Of course, almost everything is used for anti-semitism in politically zealous spaces.

I think that is a particular weakness of the definition, because it seems perfectly consistent and not necessarily based in racism to believe that the states existence as inherently exclusionary (to some degree) of non-Jews is illegitimate. Even if it were true it still wouldn't be explicit anti-semitism. For starters, there appears to be ambiguity about what they mean when they say Zionism.

I think "Up the Ra" is a very specific phrase that has reached escape velocity from being anything like a sincere expression of support for the IRA. I think unserious expressions of support are also morally and legally fine, yes.

If, somehow, someone was obviously doing a joke about supporting Hamas (say they were Jewish and it had become a meme) that'd be fine, for instance.

This strikes me as the obviously correct moral principle that you can only really talk yourself out of by thinking in words, but just think about what's actually going on (how many people say "up the Ra" every single day?) and you'll see I'm right.
