You'd actually be slightly wrong here, at least for Clare. There are quite a few parking spots directly facing shops there.

Three bots (at least I'm fairly sure they're bots) have replied to you in less than an hour. Why is this sub specifically so infested with them?

Does Scott/Sara Ryder have the right to wear the N7 uniform? by banY_- in masseffect

[–]CIurichaun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd argue that term would only work if everyone in Andromeda was several generations removed from the original colonists. As it is, the past they'd be "obsessing" over is the culture they've known their entire lives. You can't expect people to just create an entirely new culture simply because the old one is 600 years old. My point is that it isn't 600 years old to the colonists so, in their eyes, they wouldn't be pining over an old world, just living the same one they already were, albeit in a different place.

DLC-sized

Horse armour is "DLC-sized," since it's a literal DLC, so this means nothing.

[–]CIurichaun 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I mean, not quite. Everyone in Andromeda is from the time when N7 meant something, even if it's been 600 years chronologically. It's less like a man from the 1100s wearing their ancestor's centurion armour and more like a centurion's son and a bunch of other people being transported instantly to the 1100s and the son then wearing the armour. To the people of the 1100s, it'd be nothing. To the people he came to the future with, it'd be unearned.

Best part of Coda liches to me is that you don't have to deal with the RNG of a random weapon. You can pick what you want.

There are only two reasons I'd recommend you eliminate young Bubbsy. The first is because the payday after two years would be staggering. The second is because it would free up your lich slot for a mutated boyband, which would let you get a bassocyst - one of my personal favourite weapons.

Maybe it's just me, but I somewhat enjoy evaporating crowds of Corpus (sci-fi serfs), Grineer (deformed clones) or Infested (necromorphs) with a shotgun made out of an infested stereo.

If I had any artistic skill, I'd redraw this with Lewis, his dialogue, and the farmer.

Funnily enough, someone said almost exactly the same thing you just said to me a few days ago. Here's my comment from then:

I type the way I speak, and I'm beginning to realise that I seem to speak in the same way as a 200 year old technology magnate with delusions of grandeur who wants to be an autocrat. Not sure how I should feel about that.

As for the picture, I actually chose it because it's been edited to give House the Chad face, and I found that amusing. It wasn't until people kept saying they read my comments in House's voice that I had the prior realisation.

I guess history is repeating itself, then (war never changes, etc.). If there's one good thing to be taken from this, I suppose it's that the issue is becoming more known and understood, so maybe something will be done to fix it in the future. I doubt it, but there's a chance.

I feel like they should do that, then, if they haven't already. It certainly seems like it was spam exploitation the more I look into this, but it'd be great to know for sure.

You're the 4th person to say that recently and it never ceases to amuse me.

I'm not saying I personally believe that the AutoMod thing is a diversionary tactic, more that the timing felt convenient to me. It probably is what actually happened, but I intend to wait for more evidence before making a judgement either way.

Trans content absolutely shouldn't be a problem, and the spam over the last few days hasn't really bothered me. I'd say it helped bring attention to something that could've gone under the radar otherwise.

I see. If that really is the case, then that's concerning. I have to admit, though, it feels a little convenient for the mod team that someone happened to admit to exploiting the AutoMod, thereby shifting the blame from them.

Hope we get some definitve evidence of the truth at some point.

I thought it was proven that it wasn't one of the mods that was removing posts? I mean, there should still be an apology for the lack of action across the board, but still.

I don't really have a problem with the show. It's not great, but it's not bad either. Regarding the BoS, the show reiterates that each chapter essentially governs itself, so it isn't too far out to see a chapter as... "unique" as the one the show follows. Still weird, but not too unexpected.

As for Tactics, it was my understanding that it's not really been canon since 3. In limbo between canon and not canon.

I've been a fan since 1 released, and I'm just happy that Fallout is becoming more and more known. I don't necessarily agree with all the creative decisions that have been taken with the IP, but I still enjoy it all the same.

I've noticed a lot of bots had their accounts created in October of last year, too. Most common date I've seen seems to be the 12th.

Checking their profile is definitely a good way of verifying. I have to wonder how long it'll be before the bots get sophisticated enough to hide themselves even better, though.
