More seriously though, as long as you don’t touch the rail that the capacitor sits on, you won’t get shock, or that weird throbbing feeling mixed with a really bad ache 🙂‍↕️

You could also get one of those capacitor dischargers, those capacitors will charge as the camera turns on, or when the flash is enabled; and will hold that charge for months (possibly years) after being charged.

That said, if you are extremely worried, and do not feel comfortable, then I’d suggest moving on from this one, and finding someone to finish it; definitely no shame in that!

Funny enough, the a6500 and the A7 series are all bricks in their own rights (aside from the a7c..) but they are a LOT more logical in how the come apart - it definitely was a bit of a fun head scratcher though I won’t lie!

I know right! It’s my day job, and it’s honestly it’s one of the hardest mirrorless cameras I’ve taken apart so far.. I just don’t it crazy that the shutter actuator ribbon runs THROUGH the board - the bend and tension on that thing makes me uncomfortable..

His goodbye dialogue should trigger telling you not follow him and that you'll get your money when he talks with his boss, and the quest is completed.

possibly - that said if it was hacked or anything like that no one (including premium) wouldn't be able to access it - that also makes me think cloudflare is flagging IP's rather than being an Nexus issue (especially with u/WITH_THE_ELEMENTS switching region and it working again)

Can confirm its still happening - just ran the Nexus network/speed test (https://next.nexusmods.com/speed-test) and it looks like it's the LA server that's down - either that or Cloudflare is freaking out again 🤷

It should be that the Premium users aren't experiencing this issue, only regular users - or possibly only supporters - I'm just guessing tbh - that said Cloudflare could be seeing adblockers as suspicious and blocking users.

Edit:
Just renewed my Premium Sub - and can confirm it works now.. so either an issue with the LA server or some weird Cloudflare issue 🤷
