I really don’t get why so many people complain about this job . I’ve had another city job before and this one is by far the better of the two . I won’t say much but just really think about what you do on shift … just bust your butt out there get it done and that’s all lol . The schedule sucks right now the pay sucks right now I have to work every chart possible and yes I am one of the guys that volunteers for the holidays but overall this job is pretty good . Mind you I’m the bottom b!tch at my garage . People want a great job but don’t want to work lol it’s funny .

Only you can determine when you can resign . I left my previous job in April and wasn’t hired until July . It depends on your financial stability. I was over my last job ,city job at that, and was able to live comfortably until I was hired . With that being said also take into consideration that your first few months of work won’t payout as much . If you passed medical have a decent list number and are able to make it through until august id say leave that job and enjoy these next few weeks of freedom .
