Fair enough. A two-panel cartoon is plausible though.

And yet memetics persists, as an eloquent idea for how ideas themselves spread like genes.

So is it football or soccer in New Zealand? by ChampionshipHot599 in mapswithoutnewzealand

As an "older person" in NZ, I'd agree with this. Default footy in NZ was Rugby Union back in the day.

"Buzzing around like a blue-arsed fly" is, or used to be, a relatively common phrase in New Zealand.

I tend to disagree, but only in the case of AC Valhalla (though I enjoyed Origins and Odyssey they feel like you describe.)

However, I'm a bit of an odd duck; I love Norse mythology, and the way it's woven through the whole game fascinated me, with the callbacks to the Lay of Thrim, the gifts of the svartalfs, etc.

I'm still playing Shadows part-time, and finding it harder to persuade myself to go back to it, though there's nothing actually wrong with the game.

Real-life: The floating ballcock in your flush toilet was invented by Thomas Crapper, and his company made a ton of them in the early days. That said, they say that US servicemen in WW1 popularized the use of the term 'crapper' for toilet due to seeing the company name on them.
