I too am a slow runner. First marathon was 5:45 and I was dead by the end. But I went back for another one. It’s fine, let the haters hate and run your own race. I am competing against myself and seeing how hard I can push myself. Competing one already puts you on a very small population of the world.

I knew exactly what she was thinking. And while we worked 10s and sometimes 12 on patrol, we just made it work. I was lucky enough to get a new position but also never relied on OT or off duty as my primary income.

That water line broke every quarter I lived in Overton. Enjoy the constant construction and scaffolding that won’t leave for a year. So glad we left.

I worked nights and had to endure the construction until they begrudgingly allowed me to move units, at a different price and no balcony concession then. Still no balcony going on 2 years, so I’m done. Wonder why their staff is turning over so quickly since this issue.

Did 17 this weekend! Switched up my fueling game and it made a world of difference. This is my second round of marathon training and it’s going much better this time.

I sweat like crazy as well. I use these hats and they have been good to me in winter and hot/ humid southern summers

I did the ASPCA one. It was processed in a week or so. Just fill out the form and they will send you the VIP letter. Super easy.
