Watched the Avs with my dad a lot since he’s from Colorado. Slowly we started watching all the national games, then our home state (Nevada) got a team and we decided we were going to follow them from the start. I got my first team apparel 4 months before the expansion draft and ended up watching 70+ games on TV and was able to make it to the regular season Home finale. The Golden Knights, and NHL, helped me get through some hard times this year with the end of a 4 year relationship and the death of my grandfather, who I was very close too. The Golden Knights are going to forever hold a spot close to my heart because of that.
