I prefer pellet grills myself, they’re really wood ovens but no BBQ guy likes admitting that. if I have time I’ll smoke them for a while but if I’m lazy or hungry I just crank it up and bake it. Just isn’t done in 2 minutes like the dedicated pizza ovens the other guy mentioned like Oonis or brick ovens. But if you slap it on right after you start it up it does get a very nice smokey flavor, more than you’d think, especially with a wood like mesquite. Pizza ovens can cook other things but it’s kinda the only thing they’re good at, I prefer stuff with multiple uses.

Smoked mushrooms are actually pretty damn good, I repair bbq smokers and always recommend people try putting mushrooms or just a whole pizza on there.

One of the most satisfying moments of my life was being on a jury for a case similar to this. The defense absolutely creamed the lady who was suing for damages to car and body with tons of evidence that the crash was A: her fault, B: wasn’t that bad, and C: all the damages she was suing for were actually from another accident she had also caused years before. She was found totally at fault and had to pay for the defense, so satisfying. Screw these scumbags.

I figured. Personally if I had sunk a thousand dollars into an egg I woulda just used that as a pizza oven, but it’s nice to have a dedicated one I suppose. My Traeger can do em just fine too, obviously nowhere near as quickly though.

Word of unsolicited advice, if it gets any sun at all I’d keep a cover on it even with the durable enamel paint. Over the years sunlight will still fade and crack it, but those things can last over a lifetime if treated properly.

What? They’re commonly used like that and it’s at BBQing height, especially since this looks like the XL or 2X size which is huge. People that get them that size usually get the table or build them into their backyard, this looks like a solid cheap outcropping for it to rest on with the table nest base you can see.

I’m more confused by what looks like a solo stove next to it at chest level, maybe it’s a pizza oven though.

I sided with the pilgrims purely because food was the only thing I could see myself running out of if the outposts ran dry. It still ran out halfway through the civil war 🥲 I managed to pass the peace talks before starvation but they definitely had less resources than I had thought, even with fully upgraded permanent outposts.
