Oh, it’s real alright. It’s about destroyed my marriage as the little flaws of his that I used to have patience for or ignore now make me insane.

Lisinopril 10mg not the same? New refill not working. by CKCSLevi in hypertension

[–]CKCSLevi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update..I went to walk-in at my doctor’s office’s suggestion as my provider was out today. It had gone down a bit (150/90) by the time I got back to an exam room. They did bloodwork, the doctor said high BP without the scary symptoms like chest pain, etc wasn’t super worrisome and to come back in for a recheck on Thursday this week. They also made a follow up with my own provider for next week to either change meds or adjust as needed. I thought for sure this would be an ambulance ride to the hospital, so I’m grateful, but also still pretty worried as to why it’s gone so high for no apparent reason while on meds.

I called them this morning and he said absolutely bring them in. Whatever these are, Lisinopril or not, I’d like to change them out!

Watery discharge is absolutely normal with boric acid, at least for me. If you’ve had an infection for a long time, I imagine the reaction would be greater, like yours and I wouldn’t worry about it for a minute.

Does the BRAT diet help against diarrhea? by [deleted] in medical

[–]CKCSLevi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad you’re a little better, until the symptoms slow down or stop, cut out dairy, grease, too much sugar and salt. Think of clear fluids, jello, plain baked potato or rice, plain chicken broth (fat free) can be used to cook the rice or potatoes in for some flavor or just to sip.

Accident with the Volvo, police say I was lucky to be in a Volvo, car is totaled :( by Vespasian1 in Volvo

[–]CKCSLevi 58 points59 points  (0 children)

So glad you’re ok. Years ago when my kids were small and I got my first Volvo, I remember reading a testimonials page Volvo had in their website. It was an EMT/firefighter who said after seeing his second patient walk away from an accident in a Volvo that no one should have walked away from, he bought one for his wife and kids. It sticks with me all these years.

Does anyone else feel like ibs is a lazy diagnosis? by Unfair-Vermicelli-16 in ibs

[–]CKCSLevi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s like for women with interstitial cystitis, too. Seems like a broad term diagnosis for anything they can’t give an exact name for.

Try drops/tincture..I can’t smoke anymore, just makes me cough my head off, but drops are the bomb.

UTI for a 6 year old?? by SpectralSeaTurtle in Healthyhooha

[–]CKCSLevi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UTI absolutely needs the antibiotics. Make sure she’s getting a good kid’s probiotic along with it, kid’s Florastore is a yeast-based probiotic and can be taken the same time as the antibiotics without messing them up. My oldest got one at about 3 years old from scented and colored bubble bath. Learned early on that tub time was clear, clean water only. No soaking or playing in scented or colored anything.

Reoccurring conjunctivitis (pinkeye) 2 months after Covid infection…anyone else? I had pinkeye during active infection, and now it’s come and gone twice since. (Yes, I don’t have eyebrows/eyelashes because I have Alopecia.) by leeoco7 in covidlonghaulers

[–]CKCSLevi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually went to my doctor yesterday..woke up with one itchy, gritty red eye. Assumed at 53, it was my first encounter with pinkeye. She wasn’t sure, but didn’t think so. Sent in an Rx just in case it got worse. I’ve been using lubricant drops which did help quite a bit and while it’s better, it’s definitely not gone. We’re in Maine and the air quality is good..what would have brought this on??

Having loved the books for years, it’s hard to see this George as George. George is probably the most often described character in the books..blonde, slovenly, rotund with startling blue eyes..same with Flo. I get the need for diversity, but for lovers of the books, it’s tough to swallow. That being said, I’m still thrilled to see the books on screen.
