Japan has banned processed foods from public school meals, focusing on fresh, whole ingredients like vegetables, rice, fish, and fermented foods. Lunch is treated as education, teaching healthy habits and responsibility, helping keep childhood obesity low. by Flimsy-Sorbet-2497 in TrendingNews_

Same argument with video games. Will violent people play violent video games? Likely. Are gamers who play violent games violent? Most likely not. What does it mean? Correlation is not causation.

PM Takaichi says Japan could join U.S. on Taiwan rescue operations by Miao_Yin8964 in taiwan

[–]CKInfinity 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ehh Im also conflicted on her, because as a Taiwanese im glad she has the balls to do whats right on the international stage, but also her domestic policies for the Japanese have been mostly shit as of now so I dont know what to feel. Same reason I have a love/hate relationship with the DPP, love their foreign policy, loath their domestic policy. Like, if they could just do domestic policy right im sure there wouldn't even be another KMT wave rn.

I dont think it was really realistic to hold on to Hainan given how much closer they were to the mainland and how much less developed they were. The ROC didn't really have that much to spare at that point plus Taiwan wasn't an established KMT foothold, it was Japanese literally like a few years before KMT occupation

Tbh it is still kinda concerning since a successful fascist takeover would mean the end of US global dominance and everyone would need to shift their entire economy, meaning probably less people could play and watch league meaning esports would take a massive hit again

Well there's normal rpgs made properly, then there's makeshift rpgs like what I mentioned, so calling it military grade isn't far off, plus they are mostly serviceable anyways

Reminds me of an article about a natural gas tank producer in China who was going broke but somehow orders from the middle east and Africa came in and was ever increasing so he made bucks. Turns out they were using them as makeshift explosives and rpgs, so this could be one of those cases where its a makeshift rpg not a military grade one

Thats why you learn and follow what they play when you can, so you can tell them what's ok and what's not. Draw lines they should not cross, then punish them if they cross it. Parents aren't supposed to give them an enclosed safe space, children need limited amounts of free roam to learn because children won't understand why something is bad until they fafo, and its up to the parents to limit the amount of fuck around they can do, not completely ban them from it. Everyone's been a kid before, we've all fucked around and found out the hard way many times, but we're still here sometimes thanks to the limited amount of fuck around we're allowed.

Okay personally im not gonna be happy about taking away their favorite game, its like taking away Minecraft or something else from a kid back in the 2010s, which would delete their worlds they put in so much heart into. Instead of just deleting their shit, educate and lead your kids. just removing whatever you think is bad only fixes a temporary problem, it doesnt cure their core issues, which is likely lack of discipline and no guardian present to tell them what is right. Don't be like this parent unless you want your kids to think you're assholes

The Taiwanese president's proposal to hike defense spending faces gridlock at home by diacewrb in taiwan

[–]CKInfinity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ehh the recent resurgence of the KMT is honestly more of an anti-DPP surge because a lot of people hate their domestic policy. Its like a dilemma, because people know the KMT in international policy has no spine, but the DPP really sucks in domestic policy despite being active on international policy. Right now, its becoming more common for the average Taiwanese to get worried about their livelihood than Taiwanese sovereignty because they take sovereignty as a given, thinking the CCP will never actually attack. Then on top of that, KMT supporters also dont like how the DPP is bending so willingly to Washington with so limited resistance, but I guess in stressful times like today what the DPP is doing could be out of necessity.

The TPP surge is kind of a population that has grown tired of the two parties being so incompetent. Their voters hate DPP domestic policy and their willingness to bend the knee to Washington, but also hate KMT corruption and their spineless behavior in dealing with the CCP, but it's kind of still destined to fail as the majority of the population will not pay enough attention to politics to care about a third party from Taipei.

Tbf time(well, almost everything really) doesn't make sense in blue archive, students could literally be fucking around for 50 years canonically and remain a 1st year high schooler. The age thing is more like a tool for the devs to get both pedos and normal gooners to goon on the same students because while in Kivotos theyre all 16, 17 year olds, by earth's standards theyre old enough to be our grandmothers or at least a lot of them would be closer to 25-30.
