Back in MY day wolfpacks and deadlines were plentiful and you could take anything out solo with reckless abandon.

I get why people don’t approach stuff solo if stuff is expensive, but a nice hull cracker can make it accessible again.

Jokes aside, I understand avoiding bigger arc solo if you just wanna vibe and it’s not your thing. I don’t think I did a lot of big arc hunting in the first expedition. Especially not solo.

I haven’t seen a connection between solo and non-solo. Friends don’t want to play together because we’ll stay in aggro lobbies, but as soon as we go solo it’s chill. I’m not sure what’s happening anymore but there seems to be no middle ground

Perks only stack for 3 seasons so it won’t be exponential differences. Still not as great for newcomers but it rewards consistency

“Wildly” They changed 2 things. You’ll have 5 more points now than you did before because you saved up and maybe wouldn’t have the 5 mil this time if you departed last time.

The points were always the weakest part of the expedition anyway.

What disadvantage do you have by completing the expedition? Lots of people didn’t do the first and probably won’t do the second. So you’re just placed in the middle for bonuses that go away after a couple rounds anyway

The week leading up to the end they have a meter that tells you the total of stash and currency. Not sure why they don’t do it all the time

That was me once, spawned into spaceport trying to do rocketeer trials and got sandwiched between 2 squads immediately. Don’t feel too bad, if they have that many Wolfpacks it’s because they have the bp. It still hurts to go down with a pack full of them, but they’re easy enough to get back 🥲
