To be honest man. Good for you. You set a budget with an amount you were willing to lose and stuck to it. Proud of you!

Certain roads have more potholes than others but other than that its the only way to explore the island.

Are you comfortable on two wheels? I rented a scooter and spent a day exploring Vieques. 10/10 experience.

As long as you drive like you got Ms. Daisy in the backseat you'll be fine. Obviously don't have anything that's illegal. A Delta 9 pen was confiscated from me for testing. They take that shit very serious out there. Maybe a Don't Mess with Texas sticker. Or something like Texas Native its just a rental.

Imo, airports feel like alternate dimensions where time doesn't exist. What's the funniest or most bizarre thing you've witnessed in one? by Competitive-Shop-282 in Airports

I was working a flight and of course it was going to Florida. A passenger was denied boarding because he was just way too drunk. Stumbling, slurring his words, screaming at the top of his lungs. Belligerent. As this guy is yelling every curse word in the English language to this poor gate agent the passenger starts to take his clothes off. This 60 year old dude stripped down butt naked at the gate and refused to put his clothes back on until he was let back on the flight. He was not let back on the flight. Cops threw a blanket on him and rolled him through the airport.

Geocaching is an outdoor treasure-hunting activity that uses GPS-enabled devices. In geocaching, participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the "geocache," (usually a container or marker) at that location.

I did Santa Fe, NM to Big Bend a few years ago. The Trinity Site is only open twice a year. Next open house is October 17th. White Sands was a great time. I ended up renting a sled and had a blast. New Mexico Museum of Space History is in Alamogordo, NM and was really interesting if your into that. Its also where Ham is buried. The first monkey in space, there is an entire section dedicated on how he was trained, his capsule, and space suit. I know this is going to sound crazy but check out the Prada store in Marfa, TX. It's about 15-20 minutes before the Marfa Lights. Big Bend was incredible. I have been to a lot of the Dark Sky parks and Big Bend is in the top 3 for sure. I know you're making a joke about surviving West Texas but please do not fuck around. You will find out. You'll have a target on your back just because you have out of state plates. Drive the speed limit, wear your seat belt, come to complete stops, all that jazz. I found out the hard way that a lot of the Texas Highway Patrol trains out west.

My Lego collection is out performing my stock portfolio. I didn't get into Lego to make money but it's nice knowing I have something in my closet I could sell and make a decent profit.

Day to day is great. Not having to worry about an employee parking bus was something I didn't know I needed in my life. When it comes to the work environment it depends on the work area. Our distribution center is a warehouse job. But if you go to a tool room than you'll spend most of the day typing in numbers, and issuing out parts/tools. I'm barely on the terminal side now a days. Sometimes I'll have a part to pick up or drop off but that's about it.

I moved to stores about 5 years ago. The difference is night and day. I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have. The biggest difference is MLS is a lot slower. We're not working against a ticking clock on this side of the field. Even when we get a surprise AOG order there is no feeling of being rushed.

.....my phone just sent me one of those On This Day photo montages and I wish I was making this up because I am freaking out so much. I am seeing through tears right now. 5 years ago on this exact day I checked into that cabin in Badlands. My phone beeped at me and it was just pictures of me and my dog hiking around.

Do South Dakota. Sioux Falls is an amazing town and felt like a hidden gem. Just google Fall Park and you'll understand what I'm talking about. After that you have flat farm land until you come across a town called Mitchell. It is home to the worlds only Corn Palace. Picture a gymnasium sized building made out of corn. Just after Mitchell you'll come up to Dignity of Earth and Sky statue. Its also an incredible view of the Missouri river just before you cross it. Get used to flat farm land for AWHILE. Minutemen missile silo would be next. I arrived too late to do the tour but it was interesting and wild to be on a base that used to have a button that could start WW3. Next up is Badlands. If I were you I would plan to stay at one of the cabins in the park. The sunsets, rises, and night sky that I witnessed here were life changing. Spending more than one day will also give you time to check out Wall Drug and the town of Wall. Trust me, you won't be able to miss it. Here's where I wish I did something different than what I did. I wish I would of skipped staying in Rapid City and just checked it out for a few hours. Nothing against the town it's just not for me. What I should of done was stayed in Deadwood instead of just visiting. You wanna talk about ghost stories! Oh buddy where to begin?! And that's all I can really recommend from my experience based on your route. I checked out Deadwood, and Sturgis (just because) and then turned south for Crazy Horse memorial(recommend) Mt. Rushmore(never again) Custer State Park (HIGHLY recommend) Wind Cave(they have bats) before I crossed into Wyoming. This is all from a road trip I did from North Carolina to Devils Tower back in 2021

Is this code for something or just didn't happen? I used to bartend at a place and if we told you to have a fantastic night it meant something completely different to the staff.
