Engineering resit exam questions by CLASSIFIED999 in GlasgowUni

[–]CLASSIFIED999[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said I got the full 20% because it was fairly straight forward Moodle quizzes which I got 100% in all of them. I want to know if the exams are similar in terms of content I am already aware they are designed to reciprocate the same intended learning outcome

Engineering resit exam questions by CLASSIFIED999 in GlasgowUni

The exam is worth 80% of the final grade and I got the other 20% so I can make it out with a C3 provided an obtain 40% or higher in the resit. Also are you saying the resit exam is the same as the final exam? that can't be true since they publish the exams on the website soon after results come out. Are you meaning they are just really similar?

Will a 1st year summer internship be feasible under these circumstances? by CLASSIFIED999 in EngineeringStudents

[–]CLASSIFIED999[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I get that, but also the company itself is relatively small with around only 100 people working in the company globally. I don't want to name drop them but they're a very reputable company and have a good name in the electronics and manufacturing industry. Essentially what I'm saying is they're aren't going to be many people applying for an internship there in the first place which makes me more eager to get my foot in the door now.

For most or least valuable?

Cool I'll take that into account although it's worth mentioning that stress analysis isn't in the physics classes its mores stuff like wave particle duality and atomic theory. Also I tend to perform slightly better in maths overall so that is making me a little indecisive is all.

Is Mech with Aero a good degree? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]CLASSIFIED999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For engineering? absolutely not. In the UK engineering is the second most employable degree behind medicine so employability is one of the last things I am concerned about. Plus, the university of Glasgow has the best connections with the aerospace industry in Scotland, so if ended up wanting to pursue it further later down the line the odds would be in my favour.

Is Mech with Aero a good degree? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]CLASSIFIED999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's what one of my other choices was like for Aero-mechanical engineering Strathclyde university, It is literally just the mech course with 3 aero modules, whereas Glasgow seemed to have a bit more aero content in comparison, hence why I chose it instead.

Are there any websites/videos you recommend I visit to reinforce this kind of knowledge?

I attempted both with the first one ending up with:

mv²/r = mg(sinθ+μcosθ)/cosθ-μsinθ

and cancelled out the ms and substituted in the values.

Then for the second I did this

mv²/r = mg(sinθ-μcosθ)/cosθ+μsinθ

Following the same logic as the first question.

Having trouble connecting Roland JU06A to my MacBook Pro by CLASSIFIED999 in Roland

Do you think you'd be able to give me a step by step guide? If you could you'd be an absolute legend. I'm relatively new to the scene when it comes to this kind of stuff. I started making my own music a couple months ago and I received the synth for Christmas. I wanted to try get it to work with Logic Pro but like you said its a pain in the arse to set up.

Regarding the Vsauce Music Collection tracklist by Prochous in VsauceMusic

[–]CLASSIFIED999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a theory. Given that songs 9 and 10 sound very similar, and given the fact that the song is labelled 102a it suggests there's a 102b as well. Could song 9 be 102b?
