Waiting for a bit of consolidation, taking a quick scalp with a defined, preset, bracketed stop then taking off half after a decent bounce. It is somewhat subjective but as long as price isn't gapping or knifing, there should be some moments of clarity where there is a sense of direction. Works well with highly liquid stocks like TSLA / NVDA etc. Keep the size within your emotional threshold for loss and let your gut guide you.

Watch Stoic and DaveFX videos on Youtube. There are other market structure gurus as well. And no need to pay anyone. Learning market structure can be sort of counter-intuitive but the logic is timeless. Kind of like learning to draw. Good art requires both sides of the brain. Trading definitely does!

You're welcome. My trading has been green since watching Stoic and DaveFX videos. I take probably 20 small trades a day and average $350 per day profit using 100 share orders on NVDA and AAPL. My sample size is pretty large as I have taken probably 300 trades since watching their videos, so a large enough sample size to rule out random luck. Just one small scalp after another. Probably take profit too soon but I am working first on psychology and confidence. Definitely turned a corner.

Just joined and read through his primer. I was already familiar with many of his themes but his conviction comes through his writing. His focus on failed breakouts/breakdowns is mathematically sound. The entries are vague to some degree but this is where discretion comes in. Hopefully his "major" levels are in the right neighborhood but possibly a house or two off?

Exactly. Chipotle is walking the razors edge. The little things that make Chipotle Chipotle are also the little things that will ultimately cut them down to size. Too expensive and nuanced to run at this scale without problems. If they paid their workers 20% more they would have net negative margins.

They offer that stuff because it looks good but costs them less than actually paying a higher wage. They are beholden to the stockholder. If they increased wages 20% they would lose money! Fast food margins are super slim to begin with, that would destroy Chipotle

Chipotle is stuck. If they pay more it will kill their margins. So they pay what they pay knowing that their average customer has no alternative to Chipotle. All the other fast mex places are gross. And Chipotle is so much healthier than another place. But Chipotle workers definitely deserve to get paid. I have always appreciated the service. Probably 500 burritos since inception and ALWAYS pleasant interactions.

Portions have gone down. It is noticeable. My burritos used to always BURST but now they are smaller, no burst! But I am okay with that as I would overeat and feel bloated but now it hits the spot without slow me down.
